Dr. Drob is available to conduct forensic psychological evaluations in several areas of civil law. His work in conducting civil forensic evaluations can involve comprehensive psychological interviews and mental status examinations, the administration and interpretation of intelligence, cognitive and personality tests,  review of case materials and educational and mental health records, interviews with collateral sources, consultations with counsel and other experts and (when necessary) deposition and courtroom testimony. He has conducted examinations in the following civil law areas:

  9. Immigration Issues—e.g. need for counsel, psychology and asylum, treatment issues
  10. Exoneration lawsuits for damages in connection with wrongful incarceration.
  11. Family Court Issues—e.g. Child Custody, Termination of Parental Rights

Courtroom Qualifications and Experience

Dr. Drob has been qualified as an expert witness in Clinical and Forensic Psychology in the following jurisdictions:

Federal District Court: Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

New York State Supreme Court: Manhattan, Kings, Queen, Bronx, Staten Island,

Nassau and Broome counties.

Dr. Drob has conducted well over 1000 forensic psychological evaluations and testified in court on over 90 occasions.
